AAC copilot for iPad

A voice for every conversation.

Parley is an iPad copilot for people who can't speak easily. It listens to the room, understands who's talking, and offers tap-to-speak replies — out loud, in a voice that sounds like you.

Conversations move fast. Parley keeps you in them.

For someone who can't speak — or can't type quickly — the moment to reply is often gone before the words are ready. Parley closes that gap.

Listens & understands

Parley transcribes the conversation in real time and follows the thread, so suggested replies fit the moment.

Knows who's speaking

It recognises voices it has met before and labels each line, so replies are aimed at the right person.

Replies in your own voice

Tap a suggestion and it's spoken aloud — in a cloned, personal voice that sounds like you, not a robot.

See it in action

One conversation, start to finish.

The clearest way to understand Parley is to watch it work.

How it works

Listen, understand, suggest, speak — usually in a second or two.

1

Set the scene

Before a chat, you — or a carer — tell Parley who's likely to be there and where you are. At home, it already expects Mum.

2

Press record

One big button starts listening. Parley transcribes the conversation as it happens.

3

It knows who's speaking

Parley recognises voices it has met before and labels each line — Mum, Matt, Me — so replies fit the right person.

Tap to reply

Suggested replies appear, tuned to the moment and your mood. Tap one and it's spoken aloud.

5

Your own words, faster

Type a few rough words and Parley turns them into a full sentence in your voice. Or use the always-there quick phrases: Yes, No, Give me a moment.

After the chat

Parley quietly writes a summary you can look back on, and gets a little better at sounding like you each time.

Features

What's under the hood.

The core

Speaker recognition that learns voices

Parley recognises known people on the device itself. It uses who's likely to be present — at home, that's Mum — to resolve quickly, then confirms by voice. The thing most AAC tools can't do.

Context

Context-aware suggestions

Replies are shaped by who's there, where you are, the event you're at, and your own personality, humour and favourite phrases.

Voice

Speaks in your own voice

A cloned, personal voice rather than a generic robotic one — so replies sound like you.

Tone

Mood control

Choose the tone — calm, excited, empathetic, amused — and the suggestions follow.

Speed

Quick phrases

Five always-ready buttons for the moments that can't wait: Yes, No, Give me a moment.

Writing

Type-and-expand

Rough shorthand becomes a polished, complete sentence — in your voice.

Messaging

Reply Helpers

Drafts replies for Messages, Email and Facebook in your voice, for conversations that aren't face-to-face.

Memory

Conversation history

Searchable summaries and highlights of past chats, so nothing important is lost.

Prep

Event prep

Before a gathering, Parley prepares talking points and questions tailored to who'll be there.

Access

Built for accessibility

Large touch targets, high contrast, minimal cognitive load, and it scales to any iPad size.

Our story

Parley began with one man, and a refusal to leave him out.

[Your words go here.] Parley started with James — who he is, what living without easy speech means day to day, and the moment we decided to build him a better voice.

If it works for James, it can work for others who deserve to be heard.

We build it hand in hand, shaped by what actually helps James — not by a spec sheet. And Parley is designed to give him a voice of his own, never to speak for him.

Privacy & safety

Your voice stays with you.

Where data goes is the first question families ask. Here's the plain answer.

Recognition on the device

Speaker identification runs on the iPad itself. Voice fingerprints aren't uploaded to the cloud.

Honest about the cloud

Generating suggestions and the spoken voice use secure AI services. Nothing is sold or used for advertising.

You're in control

Data lives on the device, can be exported, and can be wiped with a single button.
